Current world changes proves all our chats about communications!!

For weeks, we had been demystifying the importance of communication in our lives. How deep it is rooted in our being and, how big is the share it books for itself in our everyday life. In fact, it adds to our subconscious programming a few code lines everyday without our attention.
If you pay attention to the media reactions and focus on the Coronavirus or Covid-19 (Refer to this article from WHO World Health Organization for the naming reasons), you can easily see how our subconscious mind which is our autopilot is programmed.

The Continuous massive media and social media talks and posts about this title engrave it in our minds. It created a memory associated with feelings intended to convey the fear, alert, worry and anxiety feelings. These feelings and a related stream of ideas flush our being when any igniting news pops up. When reading about curfew, suspension of education and other extreme actions,  what comes to our minds is the panic related to terrorism expected actions that were associated with such extensive precautions. This activates files and memories that are related to grief and fear.

In a previous post "How are the communication filters programmed?", we had highlighted the 2 ways our subconscious mind that is responsible for our spontaneous reactions is programmed:
  • In a long smooth basic way of repetition
  • In a quick way through a rush of emotions
The current chaos about the Coronavirus (Covid-19) applies both strategies in a mixed way that really exploits reactions that are based on the worries about being exposed to these conditions. This is a call to highlight some lessons that we need to learn from what is running around us and inside us.

The first hint:

We are alerted and engaged more with negative news. That's why when immediate action is needed, the call for action highlights the negative drawbacks of not being attentive to the precautions.
We are more attentive to the negative perspective than the positive ones. The news from areas that are subject to a curfew for 3 weeks that might be extended raised alerts within many of us about the availability of food and other home needs during this period.

In reaction to this worry, people were split into 2 categories. The first group is trying to stock their needs. While the second group is trying to change their eating habits as whatever your stock is, it will end someday.

The second hint:

Scarcity attracts us to action.  The news that there is no vaccine for this virus and some laboratories are working to release one for trial, drew the attention to alternatives that were overlooked by most of the people as increasing their immunity and being attentive to hygiene.
The alternatives added to every aspect of our lives is unprecedented. Among them, online education, although available for decades and offered by many reputable institutions, many nations weren't approving it or considering it a mean stream. Nowadays it is the only available choice to continue this spring semester. Once it succeeds and it will, it will be the mainstream for education. That's what is called a disruptive trend. The education system, in general, won't return as before again.

The third one:

Who is having control over the driving wheel of our life?
So when we are terrified with numbers and statics we overlook some lines in the news. This news is about traditional medicine and how it played an important proven role in treating some of the cases in China.
Below you can find 2 links speaking about these traditional treatments.
Lynn Mctaggart, the author of Power of 8 and Intention experiment on her article: A cheap cure for the coronavirus
These sources and many more together with the guardian article on MArch 20,2020: Restrictions are being eased across China as the number of new infections recorded drops sharply, draws a trend of how to boost our immune system.
But why we overlook that news in the midst of the daily trends about the virus maps and new infections and death cases?
Because our thoughts are bouncing around and we don't take enough silence gaps to quiet our mind. That's what they call the monkey mind. We don't give enough attention to exploring new side roads and maintain the stream of our thoughts flowing with the crowd.

In Conclusion:

It is great to be aware of the breaking news but, Conscious thinking and planning defeat fear.
Conscious thinking gives us a chance to plan our next steps mindfully which is opposite to panicking and being rushed to actions. The emergency conditions will decline within a few weeks or months as what happened in China based on the Guardian article linked above. After that, we are left with the memories and the feelings of what we were focusing on most of the time. Shall we look to our life after this period through the dark glasses of pessimism or shall we sing I will survive to any virus in our life? Go to the link here and imagine yourself singing it to any passing by event or virus that you don't want in your life.
